International Women's Day

International Women's Day is celebrated annually on March 8th to honor the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, as well as to raise awareness about the ongoing struggles women face worldwide. International Women's Day has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people.

To mark this day, the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) and the RIAI have joined forces in a bid to support more women at all career stages in the architecture and planning professions. To learn more, click here.

McKevitt King Architects salute the outstanding achievements of women today across the world and we celebrate our female colleagues and friends. From us to you, a very happy International Women’s Day.
