I'd like to introduce myself as part of the ongoing series of postings introducing the people who make up the team at McKevitt King Architects.

My name is Anita Fulham, and I work at McKevitt King's reception desk with Una. Unlike most people in the office, I am not a Drogheda native. I am originally from Dublin; therefore, I am what is called a 'blow in.' In 2007, I moved to Co. Meath, right before my son was born.

In 1999, I completed secondary school and immediately began working. I spent 15 years in the mobile phone industry, where I developed a passion for technology. I picked up some amazing skills while working there and met some wonderful people. You never know who you'll run into each day or what story colleagues, or customers will have for you.

In 2018, I made the decision to hang up the mobile phone and start working from home. While working from home for Amazon in 2020, I enrolled in a DIFE Office Administration QQI Level 5 course. I chose the ideal year to study full-time while also working full-time since, as we all know, there was nothing else to do that year.

After finishing the course with 9 distinctions I was fortunate enough to be invited to McKevitt King for an interview. After my interview & meeting James, Adrian & Una, I thought it would be a great place to work.

I joined the McKevitt King team in July 2021, and here I am, eight months later, still wet behind the ears but grateful to be working with such a wonderful group of people.
