Westgate Vision Online Event

The Westgate Vision Area is an exciting project for the regeneration and development of the Westgate area in Drogheda. The Westgate Vision (WGV) Area comprises: The Barlow House Area, between George’s Square and Scholes Lane including Narrow West Street and extending north to Fair Street; the Old Abbey Lane Area, between Narrow West Street and the River Boyne extending east to Dominic Street; and west to the Bridge of Peace and the Donaghy’s Mills Area west of the Bridge of Peace and south of Trinity Street.

Launched in 2018, its intention is to recover the streetscape and provide high quality public spaces that will transform Westgate and act as a catalyst for positive regeneration of the area in the broader town centre. The project represents the first stage of the Westgate Vision which is a targeted planning response aimed at channelling investment into this core area.

The Westgate Vision Group will be hosting an online public information event using Zoom at 6pm on Tuesday, 20 July 2021. It'll be just like a face-to-face event, members of the project team will present the scheme at this event and also be available to respond to any queries or listen to any feedback. To register for the event, please click the link here.
