Set on a commanding site in Drumcar with views out over the rolling fields the house enjoys abundant surrounding green space and ideal orientation. The original house was traditional in design and appearance, and although the new extension is in-keeping it brings a freshness to the overall scheme. The internal layout was reconfigured to give better circulation with a larger entrance hall, and alternative access. The new extension is comprised primarily of a large open plan kitchen/living/dining area that enjoys a triple aspect. Above this a new master bedroom with associated en-suite and wardrobe sit at first floor level. Through some contemporary zinc detailing the exterior of the extension has a very smart appearance. A corner window maximises views but also helps turn the corner of the building. New replacement windows and new window openings combined with very complimentary landscaping (complete with putting green) has also helped transform the appearance of the original house and enhance the overall design.
