McKevitt King Architects recently presented a proposed masterplan for the St. Nicholas GAA Club grounds and facilities in Drogheda. The presentation explored ways to enhance the club’s grounds, improve amenities for players and members, and support the long-term development of this important community sports organisation. The club have a vision and the masterplan helps tie together all their great ideas.
Founded in 1977, St. Nicholas GAA has a proud history within Drogheda and the wider Louth GAA community. Over the decades, the club has been home to generations of local players and volunteers, fostering sporting excellence, teamwork, and community spirit.
The proposed masterplan aims to build on that legacy — creating modern, inclusive, and sustainable facilities that will serve future generations of members and supporters.
James enjoyed a warm welcome to the club, presenting to the membership, engaging in discussion and answering questions.
