As part of Science Week 2025 we were invited into a couple of local primary schools to discuss and engage with students about architecture and building science. The theme was Then, Today and Tomorrow. Adrian showed how Drogheda town developed and how public spaces were created and used in the past and nowadays. At the end of the presentation, students got a chance to show the importance of people centred planning in their own town designs. The focus was on community and sustainability and other important elements such as nature and open spaces in the creation of people friendly and low impact places.
