We were delighted to welcome representatives from the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) to our studio in Drogheda on Friday 28th August.
Pranash Ramanundh- Practice Director, Mario Dzanko- Facilities Manger and Clement Kangombe - IT Officer spent the morning with James McKevitt and Adrian King, meeting the team and getting a feel for how we work day to day.
During the visit, we talked through some of our current and recent projects, from residential and one-off homes to commercial, community and conservation work, and shared how we approach each brief, from early design through to completion on site. It was also a great opportunity to discuss practice standards, sustainability and the challenges facing smaller regional practices.
As an RIAI Registered Practice, we value the Institute’s role in promoting high standards in architecture and supporting practices like ours across the country. Visits like this are a welcome chance to step back from the drawing board, reflect on what we do well, and hear fresh perspectives from the wider profession.
A sincere thank you to Pranash, Mario and Clement for taking the time to visit and for the engaging conversation. We look forward to continuing our involvement with the RIAI and to welcoming them back to McKevitt King in the future.
