On 1 October, Emma Kennedy attended CMG Training’s The Planning & Development Act & Environmental Considerations, a one-day course exploring the Planning and Development Act 2024 and its implications for planning applications in Ireland.
The training covered Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Appropriate Assessment (AA), application timelines and environmental compliance. It also examined recent court decisions and their implications for planning practice, alongside the importance of addressing environmental considerations throughout the development process.
