We’re delighted to share that our colleague, Aoife Burke, was recently invited to serve as a guest critic at the TU Dublin School of Architecture - a wonderful recognition of her growing expertise and her long-standing connection to the university. The invitation marks an exciting milestone in Aoife’s professional journey and speaks to the respect she has earned within academic and architectural circles.
Aoife’s relationship with McKevitt King Architects began back in 2016, when she first joined us for Transition Year work experience. She later returned during her architecture studies, spending her year-out placement with us from 2021–2022, and continued to contribute to the practice during her summer breaks. With each return, Aoife brought fresh insight, creativity, and a steady passion for the profession.
Having just completed her Master’s degree in Architecture at TU Dublin, Aoife has now rejoined our team as an architectural graduate. Her recent role as guest critic is not only a testament to her talent but also a full-circle moment - offering guidance to students walking a similar path to the one she started nearly a decade ago. We’re incredibly proud of Aoife’s achievements and look forward to seeing her continue to grow, inspire, and make her mark on the architectural community.
