Piltown Lodge is the former gatehouse for Piltown House. The extension had to be respectful of the existing lodge due to its historical importance and listed status. The new addition is a contemporary expression of the lodge's original dimensions, proportions and materials. The new spaces turn their back to the road creating privacy, and at the same time capture the southern aspect, space and views to the rear.
