Ciaran attends a HomeBond Course

Ciaran McDonnell recently completed 7 day HomeBond course in Blanchardstown. The aim of this seven day interactive course is to provide attendees with a detailed technical and practical understanding of the Building Regulations for residential construction. Building Regulations are central to all aspects of residential construction from the initial design stage through to on-going maintenance. This course has been developed in conjunction with Technological University Dublin, to give builders, architects, engineers, surveyors and anyone with an interest in the construction industry and in particular residential buildings a practical overview of their requirements in relation to constructing buildings in accordance with the Building Regulations and Good Building Practice. The course also covers the legislation and legal obligations associated with a construction project.

This is an enhanced course with Technical Guidance Document B being delivered over 2 days due to the impact of the recent changes to the guidance. Day 2 is intended to provide attendees with a more detailed understanding of Technical Guidance Document B by providing them with a practical overview of the implication with respect to the construction of buildings.

The course is accredited by TU Dublin and all successful attendees will receive a level 6 Certificate on the National Framework for Qualifications and is accepted by most Professional bodies for CPD purposes.
