Kilcloon Community Centre

McKevitt King Architects were delighted to present the scheme design for a proposed new Community Centre project in Kilcloon, Co. Meath, at the local parish centre recently. The scheme consisting of a new community centre facility with external civic and green spaces, as well as the provision of a new road for twelve housing sites, was presented to a large turnout of the local community.

The design intent of the building itself comes from a brief set out by the committee and local community, as well as the desire to create a landmark building on this prominent site facing the church. The scheme boast a series of multipurpose rooms, capable of hosting a vast range of community activities.

The project is nearing the end of the initial design phase with the aim to lodge the formal planning application in the coming weeks.
